Still makin' stuff!

I make stuff. I make lots and lots of stuff. If it has fiber as a principle component, I'm in. I love fabric. I love yarn. I love everything about fiber. Except if it's acrylic or melts in any way. Then, not so much. I am trying to find ways to use my fabric/yarn stash so that it will all be transformed into beautiful things about the same time I'm transformed into something else, though I'm thinking it won't be beautiful.
I retired from the corporate world two years ago, grateful that I could. Not a day goes by when I don't spend time making stuff. In the corporate world, there is virtually nothing you can point to at the end of the day and say, "There, I made that!" Being retired, I can point to a bunch of stuff at the end of the day and say, "There, I made that, or started it, or worked on it!"
I have been sewing for about sixty years. I've been quilting for about forty years. I've been a knitter for about fifty years. I'm not an expert in any of these endeavors but the excitement never wanes for me.  I love to share my passion with anyone who can stand to listen.
I am new to blogging but I'm going to make a stab at this because all day long I keep explaining stuff in my head to an imaginary audience, and I think the audience is out there somewhere but I just don't know about how to reach them.
Zella Belle was my mother's mother. A grand lady who knew how to shoot a pistol, ride a horse, and do what needed to be done, whatever it was. So there you have it --
